About Course

Home science is a unique field of knowledge with its major thrust in bringing science into everyday life. It is an inter-disciplinary approach in synthesizing knowledge with daily science. The program aims at preparing students in improving the quality of life and in equipping them with knowledge and skills to carry life smoothly on personal as well as professional way, thus applying themselves in various areas of public and private sector.

Course Duration

Three year full time semester course approved and affiliated to HNB Garhwal Central University, Srinagar Uttarakhand.

Eligibility Criteria

10+2 in any science stream with biology or from art stream with home science as a one of the subjects scheduled caste and scheduled tribes shall be allowed a relaxation of 5% marks in the eligibility criteria.
